President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received an invitation from The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia to attend the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States and U.S. Summit, which will be held in Riyadh on 21st May.
The UAE President was also invited by the King of Saudi Arabia to attend the Islamic-U.S. Summit, which will be held within the same period in Riyadh.
The invitation was delivered to H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, by Saudi Minister of Commerce and Investment Majid Al Qasabi, when he received him in his office at the presidential palace on Tuesday.
During the meeting, they discussed fraternal ties between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in all fields.
Among those present were Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, UAE Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Bishr, Saudi Arabia Ambassador to the UAE.
