Following on from ‘THIS IS BAHRAIN” in Los Angeles, the next ‘THIS IS BAHRAIN” event will be held in Bahrain in mid November 2017. During a special ceremony dedicated to the launch of “The King Hamad Global Centre for Inter-Faith Dialogue & Peaceful Co-Existence,” ” The Kingdom of Bahrain Declaration” will be signed by heads of state, religious leaders and dignitaries in Manama.

As some of the world’s top religious leaders congregate in Bahrain to sign “The Kingdom of Bahrain Declaration” and announce the inauguration of “The King Hamad Global Centre”, the status of Bahrain as one of the world’s major centres for all important meetings, dialogues, and conferences related to bringing peace and harmony amongst all Faiths and to the eradication of terrorism, extremism and the radicalisation of young people will be affirmed on a global level.

The King Hamad Global Centre will be a newly built facility on land which is donated by His Majesty the King and will include a museum to showcase the centuries old legacy of Bahrain’s religious freedom and peaceful–coexistence.

Bahrain is home to many Churches of all denominations and many Hindu, Sikh and Buddhist temples and synagogues and hundreds of Mosques that serve the needs of the country’s multi-cultural, multi-faith populace.
