A Saudi police patrol in Qatif province came last under heavy fire from rioters on motorcycles, which resulted in the martyrdom of a security officer and the wounding of another, Saudi Press Agency announced. Security spokesman at the Saudi Ministry of Interior Major General Alturki said that security patrols rushed to the scene and chased a number of armed rioters riding motorcyclists and exchanged fire with them and arrested four of them, adding that one of them was wounded and died while being taken to hospital.
