Police personnel and non-commissioned officers on Thursday suspended their work to join their colleagues in the governorate who went on strike ten days ago. They called for sacking police officials in the governorate, accusing them of weakness and inaction in restoring the prestige of police in the street. They threatened to escalate through staging a sit-in outside the security directorate and preventing the officials from entering the building in case their demands are not met.
