Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College and the Police College signed on Monday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote joint cooperation between the two sides in scientific and research activities, areas of development, military and sports training, technology transfer and knowledge dissemination.
The MoU was signed by Director General of the Police College Brigadier Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Al Mohanna Al Marri and Commander of the Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College Brigadier
Brigadier Dr. Al Marri stressed that the Police College will spare no effort to implement the provisions of this MoU, especially with regard to seminars, security and military research and other specializations, adding that Police College will perform its duty in the service of Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College, which provided a lot of support and good efforts to the Police College upon its establishment.
For his part, Brigadier Abdullah Abdulrahman Al Kaabi said that the Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College and the Police College complement each other, adding that they have cooperated since the establishment of the Police College.
Brigadier Al Kaabi underlined the importance of joint cooperation and benefiting from the capabilities of both colleges. He pointed out that the directives of the General Command are that Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College is to be one of the initiators in the Qatari society, and serve the Qatari community with all its capabilities, and not to limit its cooperation with other security agencies but to extend that to the entire Qatari community.
