Israeli police shut down Magharbe Gate that leads to al-Aqsa Mosque compound for visitors on Monday after a group of fanatic Israelis raised an Israeli flag during a tour of the compound, according to Muslim officials. They said Israeli fanatics who were on a regular tour of the compound pulled out a flag and raised it inside the mosque yards in obvious violation of the terms of the visits. Muslim worshippers confronted the Israelis forcing police to pull them out and close the gate to visitors. Police claimed they arrested some of the Israelis for questioning.
