Palestinian Prime Minister Rami al Hamdallah met here on Sunday with South African President's Envoy to the Middle East Zola Skweyiya and his accompanying delegation.
They discussed the latest political developments.
Despite all obstacles and challenges, the national unity government has been endeavoring since its formation to satisfy all Palestinians' needs especially the Gaza residents, according to Hamdallah.
Also, the Palestinian Premier briefed the South African envoy on the Israeli practices that hinder the development in the Palestinian territories, urging the international community to exert more pressure on Israel to clear all hurdles facing the Palestinian economy.
Furthermore, Hamdallah praised the role played by South Africa in supporting the Palestinian cause and standing by the Palestinian people in its quest for establishing an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
