The official invitation tendered by the Assistant Foreign Minister Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabr Al-Dosary to the The United Nations Commission on Human Rights (UNCHR) to visit Bahrain was commended.
The National Institution of Human Rights (NIHR) welcomed the move, stressing the importance of the visit in enhancing human rights cooperation through technical assistance programmes, competence building and exchanging expertise.
“The invitation tendered to the UNCHR reflects Bahrain’s human rights transparency”, it said, expressing the hope that it would be on agenda of the visit, being member of the Global Alliance for National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI).
