The Mounira Hospital in downtown Cairo received 32 injury cases from clashes that broke out in Tahrir Square, Mohamed Mahmoud Street and Kasr Al-Aini Street, including five in critical condition suffering gunshot wounds. Three other cases sustained injuries to the eye and were moved to an eye hospital in Giza, said head of emergency at Mounira Hospital Mahmoud Saeed. The remaining injuries vary from cuts, bruises to bird-shot pellets and suffocation due to tear gas, he said, adding their condition is stable.
