President Mohamed Morsi will chair a mini-ministerial meeting on Saturday to launch a plan for the development of Upper Egypt. The meeting, to be held in Sohag, will be attended by Prime Minister Hisham Qandil, several ministers and all governors of Upper Egypt. During his visit of Sohag today, Mori will open a number of projects, including a technology development center and will hand over a number of residential units to youths. Morsi will conclude the visit by a meeting with popular leaders in the governorate and a number of citizens at Sohag Stadium. It is the first time he chairs a ministerial meeting outside the capital since coming to office in late June 2012.
