Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received this evening at Al Bateen Palace, the clerics, guests of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The scholars are hosted annually during the holy month of Ramdan to deliver sermons and lectures within the programmes prepared by the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, under supervision of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the scholars and exchanged greetings with them on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, praying to Allah Almighty to bless the UAE, Arab and Islamic nations, and bestow on them more prosperity.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed wished the clerics success in delivering the sermons, stressing that the responsibility on their shoulders is huge as they enlighten the Islamic societies and spread tolerance.
Dr. Nidal Al-Tunaiji, Director-General of the Zayed House for Islamic Culture, presented copies of the interpretation of Holy Quran themes and verses into 13 languages.
Dr. Mohammed Mattar Al Kaabi, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments briefed the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi on the programmes of the scholars including sermons and lectures to be delivered at mosques nationwide on noble values of Islam.
The scholars and preachers expressed their satisfaction at being in the UAE to participate in this annual great tradition to hold sermons, religious and social programmes during the Ramadan. They wished well to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, more progress and prosperity to the UAE and its people.
The clerics also commended the hospitality accorded to them, and thanked Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for his support to the clerics.
Among others present were H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, representative of the Authority, Ministry of Justice, the Department of Judiciary - Abu Dhabi, and Zayed House for Islamic Culture.
