The Ministry of Interior celebrated Monday the graduation of the founding course of police recruits (fourth class) in a ceremony held in the Police Training Institute and in the presence of HE Director-General of Public Security Staff Major General Saad bin Jassim Al Khulaifi, a number of officials at the ministry and parents of the graduates.
The class included 355 trainees who had received theoretical and operational training for nearly four months, and then joined work in different locations and police and security departments.
Speaking to the press after the ceremony, HE the Director-General of Public Security praised the high level that graduates showed during the graduation queue, noting that the new batch of graduates will enter the field work and it is theoretically and practically qualified to perform its duties with all determination and ability.
He called on the Qatari youth to join the police force to participate in preserving the security of the country, wishing the graduates every success in their practical lives and their duties in providing a unique security service for citizens and residents alike.
For his part, Assistant Director of the Police Training Institute Ali Saud Al Henzab expressed pride of the new graduates of security personnel who have been trained according to the highest level of expertise and efficiency in the field of security.
He added that this new trained and qualified class comes as an embodiment of the Ministry of Interior's plan to rehabilitate and train cadres in the security and service field in order to achieve the goals and objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
The ceremony included a variety of military performances performed by the graduates, in addition to military formations that showed the efficiency of the exercises during the session.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, HE the Director-General of Public Security honored the outstanding graduates of this course, which included military and sports training, lectures on the Qatari Penal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure, the principles of criminal investigation, police operations, the rights and duties of the security function, security sense, the art of dealing with the public, first aid, police communications, computer, and civil protection.
