Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi, Minister of Justice, has expressed his sincere congratulations and appreciation to the efforts of all UAE Emirati women working in the Judiciary Sector in the UAE, for their continuous efforts to achieve more strides, and improve their work and services in all sectors.

On the occasion of Emirati Women's Day, marked on 28th August, Minister Al Badi praised the leading role of female directors and employees, who represent a role model for all women, and push them to achieve more.

Al Badi said that today women account for more than one-third of the administrative staff in various position, and proximately 30 percent of women are responsible for leading posts in the ministry, including the leadership of the departments of legislation, human resources, lawyers, translators, forensics and customer service centres. He added, women also held senior positions in other administrative positions, and their participation in judicial posts have steadily increased.

He continued that that the theme of this year's celebration of Emirati women, "Women are Partners in Giving" reflects the prestigious position of Emirati women, and the keenness to follow the guidance of our wise leadership in intensifying efforts for giving, and the role of women in supporting and deepening these social and humanitarian concepts, and in honour of their important role in establishing a promising future for generations to come.

The Minister of Justice also praised the support received by Emirati women by the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, and the role of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, in the success and reinforcement of women's leadership as a driving force for the sustainable development process in the UAE.
