Arabian Auction announce launch of third online auction

Mazad today announced that it will conduct the third edition of its online private vehicle number plates auction on July 23.

The third auction, to be conducted in collaboration with Arabian Auction, follows two successful online auctions that attracted over 7,000 followers and received broad engagement across the community.

Seventy new numbers will be introduced at the auction, with various online channels available to facilitate participation, including a smart phone application (Arabian Auction) and a website (http://arabian.auction/ar-bh/BHRBuyNow).
Speaking on the occasion, the CEO of Mazad, Talal Arif AlAraifi, highlighted the success of the online auctions and the direct sales of number plates, noting that out of 1,700 numbers for direct sale initially introduced, 1,100 had been sold.

Al Araifi also added that over 600 plates are still available on the website and application for those interested in acquiring number plates through direct sales.

He extended his gratitude to the traffic directorate for its continued collaboration with Mazad, and for facilitating the process of issuing ownership certificates for new private number plate owners.

The General Manager of Arabian Auction, Omar Matar Al Mannai, praised the success of online and traditional auctions in the Kingdom, recognising that the ongoing collaboration between Arabian Auction and Mazad has increased the number of sales and improved bids.

He also highlighted that this success underscores Bahrain’s business environment, which he said encourages innovation and creativity. He reiterated Arabian Auction’s commitment to continue working alongside Mazad to deliver more successful auctions and expand this sector.
