The Lower House Foreign Affairs Committee on Thursday discussed with Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi, the latest developments in the region, mainly the Israeli violations in Jerusalem as well as the Israeli Embassy incident.

Head of the Lower House Foreign Affairs Committee MP Raed Khazaleh praised efforts exerted by Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, towards the Palestinian issue, mainly to protect the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

Safadi for his part briefed the committee on efforts exerted by the Kingdom to defend the holy places in Jerusalem.

He also briefed the committee on developments related to the Israeli Embassy incident.
