New Libyan leader Mohammed al-Megaryef told US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton on Monday that his country will not constitute a burden on the international community.  Al-Megaryef reaffirmed that what happened on 11th of September towards US citizens does not express in any way the aspirations of the Libyan people, nor their sentiments towards the American people. The Libyan official described the attack in Benghazi, in which four Americans were killed including ambassador Chris Stevens, as "a very painful, huge tragedy". He asserted Tripoli's readiness to cooperate with the US government in the investigation for the prosecution of the culprits .
