Lebanese Red Cross and army soldiers inspect the site

A rocket fell in the outskirts of Nabi Othman town Friday night, the Lebanese army said.

The rocket was fired from gunmen sites in the Anti-Lebanon region, the army said in a statement.

Army units deployed in the area and took necessary field measures and targeted the gunmen with heavy artillery, added the statement. 

The army is working on identifying the rocket type.
