Beirut - KUNA
Lebanese Minister of Interior Marwan Charbel said on Sunday that the security situation in Tripoli is "under control now" after the military completed its wide-ranging deployment in the clash areas. He noted that the army was carrying out its duties to the best of its resources, and also noted the Syrian crisis is affecting the situation in Lebanon. Reports now indicate cautious calm across the city since early morning, particularly upon the army's entering areas where it was not present before.
