Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Ahmad al-Humoud al-Jaber al-Sabah left here on Wednesday for Saudi Arabia to attend the 30h session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, due to start today. In pre-departure statements, the Kuwaiti minister said the Arab region is passing though a critical stage that requires intensive Arab cooperation in all security-related fields. As for the council's agenda, the minister said promoting security cooperation between the interior ministries in the Arab countries tops the council's agenda. The Arab interior ministers are also scheduled to discuss and follow up the implementation of resolutions adopted at previous meetings. The Arab ministers will also discuss an array of annual reports on the implementation of joint strategies on e-crimes, fighting terrorism, drug-trafficking and other security issues, he concluded.
