Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Malla praised the wisdom of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in handling regional issues, maintaining Bahrain’s security and stability, safeguarding its supreme interests, fast-tracking reform and development and fighting all forms of terrorism in light of the current regional challenges. He hailed the successful official visits of HM the King to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt to boost cooperation and rally Arab ranks against terrorism and its supporters.

The Representatives Council Speaker underlined the parliamentary support to all measures taken by Bahrain to maintain national security, stressing the kingdom’s unwavering stance placing the GCC interest above anything else. He affirmed that all procedures taken aim to combat terrorism and extremism, stressing that security and stability of the GCC countries can never be compromised. He noted that the GCC, Arab, friendly countries and the whole world stand united in countering terrorism and its supporters.

The Representatives Council Speaker paid tribute to the Bahraini people for their loyalty to the leadership and rejection of any interference in the kingdom’s affairs, stressing that it’s time to stop policies backing terrorism, extremism and provocation in order to foster security of the region and peoples.
