Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa today hailed His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa’s speech at the opening of the 3rd session of the 3rd legislative term. In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), he hailed the royal keynote speech which reaffirmed the crucial role of the legislative authority in legislating laws and cooperating with the executive branch of government. He lauded HM the King for underscoring the importance of implementing the National Dialogue recommendations, being a quantum leap forward in the march of national work. “The keynote speech reflects HM the King’s awareness of citizens and residents’ suffering amid escalating acts of rioting and sabotage”, he said. He quoted HM the King affirming that the door of dialogue remains open, pointing out the Government’s meetings with political societies. He welcomed parties wanting peaceful dialogue, adding that the law would be enforced on lawbreakers. “There is no compromise when it comes to Bahrain’s security as well as citizens and residents’ safety”, he said.
