At least 38 people were killed and dozens injured in attacks in Iraq on Monday, mostly in car bombings, security officials and witnesses said. According to dpa, seven car bombings went off in Baghdad, killing 29 people and injuring 63 others. In Baquba city, located some 60 kilometres northeast of Baghdad, nine people were killed and 21 injured in three bombings and an attack on a residential area.
