Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim inspected on Monday troops deployed to secure the Supreme Constitutional Court building in el-Maadi, one day before a ruling on the constitutionality of the law under which the Shura Council was elected and the constituent assembly was formed. The minister was briefed by police commanders in the site on the plan of securing the building tomorrow. He asserted respect to peaceful protest and freedom of expression. The minister also checked out security campaigns launched in Cairo and on the Ring Road. He spoke to citizens who hailed the current performance of police.
