A delegation from Human Appeal International

 A delegation from Human Appeal International, HAI, headed by Khalid Abdulwahhab Al Khaja, Executive Director of HAI, inspected its branch office in Jordan, during a visit that included the capital, Amman, and Al Zarqa Governorate, as part of its regular monitoring of its overseas branches.

Al Khaja and his accompanying delegation, viewed the programmes and projects being carried out in Amman. During their visit, they also checked on the state of their two orphanages in Amman and Al Zarqa, and their services to local orphans, as part of the complete range of care services provided by HAI.

Further, the delegation met with Hala Bseiso Lattouf, Minister of Social Development in Jordan, to explain the charitable services they have undertaken.

They also discussed the means of co-operation and co-ordination between the local ministry and the HAI branch in Jordan, as well as the various charity, humanitarian and rescue projects launched by the office.

The four-day visit included a review of the working procedures of the HAI office in Amman, where Al Khaja met with its staff and listened to an explanation about the nature of their work, as well as their comments and suggestions on how to develop and improve their programmes, and their efforts to achieve excellence in their charity and humanitarian work.

Al Khaja also highlighted the desire of HAI to provide all possible types of aid to the Jordanian people through its branch in Jordan, to comply with the recommendations of HAI’s Board of Trustees, headed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, and achieve the UAE’s goals in the field of charity and humanitarian work.

HAI cares for some 7,700 orphans in Jordan, offering them full support. It also launched the "Charity Loaf of Bread" project, which supports over 4,700 families in need on a daily basis.
