His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today was welcomed by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi as he arrived at Cairo International.

HM the King and Egyptian President will hold talks on the longstanding bilateral relations and cooperation, as well as regional and international developments.
The two leaders exchanged cordial talks on the fraternal relations before their motorcade headed to Al-Ittihadiya Palace, where an official reception was held in honour of HM the King. After the two national anthems were played, HM the King inspected the Guard of Honour lined up to salute him.

HM the King shook hands with President El-Sisi and members of the Egyptian delegation and the official Bahraini delegation accompanying him who lined up to greet him.

A mission of honour headed by Tourism Minister Mohamed Yehia Rashed was formed to accompany HM the King.
