Majlis Al Shura yesterday approved remarks received from His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said on some articles of the Animal Welfare Law and the Veterinary Medical Professions Practice Law, in light of the conclusion of the Joint Committee of the State Council and Majlis Al Shura.

The approval came at the its 14th regular session of the 2nd annual session (2016-2017) held under the chair of Khalid bin Hilal Al Ma’awali, Chairman of Majlis. 

It also approved a vision of the Economic and Financial Committee on the draft agreements on avoiding double taxation and prevention of evasion for income taxes between the Sultanate’s Government and the governments of the Slovak Republic and Malta.

Majlis Al Shura will host today and tomorrow the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries to deliver a statement of his ministry before the Council and discuss the contents of its themes
