The Lebanese government under Saad el Hariri won the parliament's vote of confidence with a majority of 87 votes out of total 92.

Four lawmakers voted against the government and one abstained.

The Lebanese presidency announced the formation of the new government under Hariri on December 18. This is the first government to be lined up after President Michel Aoun took the helm in October 2016
