US Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel discussed with his Egyptian counterpart General Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi Tuesday, issues regarding the Pentagon statement. The two officials discussed prospects toward peace-building in Egypt, particularly among Coptic Christian communities as efforts to \"secure and rebuild\" are expected of the government. The security of the Sinai Peninsula was also discussed. Hagel also urged Minister Al-Sisi to continue taking steps to demonstrate the interim government\'s commitment to develop the political roadmap.
