The thirty-second meeting

The thirty-second meeting of the Directors-General of Criminal Investigation departments in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries was held in Bahrain yesterday, with the additional participation of a delegation from the UK within the framework of security cooperation between the two sides.
The meeting covered a number of security issues to enhance joint security work and achieve the GCC countries' objectives in seeking to protect security and stability.
The topics discussed in the meeting included the decisions of the 35th meeting of GCC Ministers of Interior on criminal investigations, the automated fingerprint and criminal information exchange project, the draft law on the protection of financial institutions and the establishment of the Criminal Science Forum.
