The Ministerial Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Arab States (GCC), has denounced with the strongest terms the outrageous terrorist bombings that took place in the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Manama, and killed a number of innocent people, on Nov. 5. The Ministerial Council\'s 125th session held here today expressed in a statement its heartfelt condolences to the King of Bahrain, government and people and the families of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery. The Ministerial Council praised the ability of the security authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain and their handling of the events. It reiterated its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people in their efforts to maintain the national unity, security and stability in order to protect the lives and properties of its citizens and residents. The Ministerial Council stressed that the security of the Kingdom of Bahrain is an integral part of the security of the entire GCC, and any infringement on its security is deemed transgression on the security of all the GCC states. It categorically rejects any terrorist activities, and calls for concerted efforts to tackle terrorism in all its forms through activation of all the decisions issued by the regional and international organisations on counter-terrorism.
