Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States will hold their 143rd session in Riyadh

Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States will hold their 143rd session in Riyadh next Wednesday, under the chairmanship of Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Bahraini Foreign Minister and the Chairman of the current session.
In a statement on Monday, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, said that they will discuss the ongoing preparations for the consultative meeting that will be held in Riyadh, in addition to the GCC-US Summit, and the Islamic-U.S. Summit, which will be hosted by Riyadh on May 21, during the visit of United States President Donald Trump to Saudi Arabia.
He added that they will discuss several reports related to the resolutions of the GCC Supreme Council, memos and reports submitted by the ministerial committees and the Secretariat General, and other topics related to the strategic dialogues between the GCC countries, other countries and international blocs.
The ministers will also tackle the latest regional and international developments and ways to strengthen international efforts to combat terrorism.
