Firefighters contained a huge fire that erupted on Monday night at the goods of street vendors in El Roei district in downtown Cairo.

Five people were injured in the fire.

Civil defense forces are currently cooling the effects of the fire while concerned authorities are investigating the incident to find out the reason behind the fire.

Earlier, 10 fire trucks rushed to the area to put out the blaze.
