The transitional period of government in Egypt should end \"by next spring\" Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy said, as he is actively replacing politicians appointed in July after the army ousted president Mohamed Mursi. \"Work is under way, in line with the roadmap, on several tracks. It has so far succeeded in establishing the principles of justice, freedom and democracy, as a basis for governance,\" Fahmy told the UN General Assembly on Saturday, RT reported. The next phase of the transition would be to hold parliamentary elections and then presidential elections.
