As part of the UAE’s humanitarian approach to helping the hunger-stricken Yemeni people survive their suffering, the Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, on Thursday delivered essential relief items, including urgent food supplies to the people of Al Khoweira in Hadramut Region, Yemen.
The aid comes in continuation of the integrated relief and assistance programme launched by ERC in Yemen in general and in remote Yemeni areas in particular where the greatest level of human needs are seen.
The people of Al Khoweira have expressed sincere appreciation for the UAE leadership and people for their consistent support and standing by their country in well and woe.
The UAE has been in the forefront of countries that have hurried to send relief and assist Yemen to ride over the current crisis, support its stability and unity, and help alleviate the untold levels of suffering the Yemenis are going through.
