The reunion in Mina left many teary-eyed

Separated by the Israeli blockade of Gaza, Palestinian pilgrim Emad Al-Din Hamsho and his mother were reunited after five years in Mina during Haj.
Emad arrived from Palestine as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Haj and Umrah, while his mother arrived from Riyadh, where she lives. The mother and her son reunited in a scene they long believed to be impossible.
“I am beyond happy. I froze. I could not believe my mother was right before my eyes. We broke the Israeli siege through the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program.”
He said: “I did not know that fate would allow me to see my mother here in the purest land — Mina,” he said. He said he is grateful to Allah, and to King Salman for the opportunity to be reunited with her once again.
His mother also thanked King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and the Saudi government for helping reunite the family, making their dreams come true
