As part of Emirates Red Crescent's (ERC) drive to provide more humanitarian needs to the people of Yemen, who are facing critical conditions, the ERC has distributed 2,000 food baskets to inhabitants at villages of Omran and Ras Omran, and farmers in the Aden Governorate.
The beneficiaries appreciated the UAE's efforts, referring to the ERC assistance. They also added that the distribution of the food baskets was timely to alleviate the suffering of people during the holy month of Ramadan.
They commended the UAE's backing of Yemeni government and people, thanks to the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces
