The Dubai Charity Association, DCA, has distributed coupons for school bags and stationery to 2,000 underprivileged male and female students for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Ahmed Mesmar, Secretary-General of DCA, stated that 250 orphans were among the beneficiary students of the annual charitable education project costing AED660,000, with AED400,000 being allocated to stationery.

''We purposely distributed these school accessories before the start of the school year, to ease the burdens on low-income families,'' he added.
