Chairman of Agricultural Devel. Company nabbed for bribery

The Administrative Control Authority (ACA) announced on Thursday that it has arrested the chairman of Egyptian Company for Agricultural and Rural Development for bribery charges. 

According to a statement carried by Nile News channel, the official was nabbed while taking EGP200,000 from a supplier. 

The company is a subsidiary to the Principal Bank for Development and Agricultural Credit (PBDAC).

Also, a tax officer was taken in custody for receiving a EGP100,000 bribery in return for cutting EGP4 million taxes payable by a company.
