Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) affirmed standing by all measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain in terms of cutting diplomatic relations with Qatar as a result of the latter’s policy of interference in Bahrain’s internal affairs.
In its statement issued today, the BCCI attached great value to the homeland’s security, stability and protecting the national achievements and interests.

The statement rejected Qatar’s constant interference in Bahrain’s internal affairs, which is inconsistent with principles of good neighborliness, joint interests and international laws and UN Charter.

It expressed hope that the Qatari government would correct its policies and to join the fight against terrorism for the benefit of the people of Qatar.

It noted the Bahraini-Qatari social ties and multi-million investments that have been jeopardized due to the same policy. It lauded the royal order on considering the human situation of mixed Bahraini-Qatari families.
