Bahrain has offered its congratulations to Iraq’s government and people on the liberation of Tal Afar from the grip of the Daesh terror group, highlighting the determination of the Iraqi government and armed forces led by Prime Minister Dr. Haider al-Abadi. 

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirms Bahrain's support for the Republic of Iraq against violence, extremism and terrorism, backing its actions and measures to eliminate all terrorist organizations and establish security and peace in all parts of Iraq and preserve its sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity," the ministry said in a statement.
