Number of Muslim Brotherhood activists who have been detained by authorities during current events in Al-Giza has reached 219, a Ministry of Interior source said on Wednesday. The source told the official Middle East News Agency (MENA) the security personnel seized at least three automatic rifles in possession of these detainees. Earlier on Wednesday, a security source said the security men arrested 60 Brotherhood members at Rabaa Al-Adawiyah square and 154 others at Al-Nahda plaza. These protestors had carried steel arms, sticks and gas canisters, he added.
