Assistant of the President of the Republic, Abdul-Rahman Al-Saddiq Al-Mahdi, Monday received in his office at the Republican Palace the Arab League's envoy to Sudan, Ambassador Salah Halima, and discussed the role that can be played by the Council of Arab Ambassadors in Khartoum for helping Sudan confront the pending challenges and contributing to the development process and realization of security and stability in the country. In a press after the meeting, Ambassador Halima said that they discussed invitation of the Council of Arab Ambassadors in Khartoum to the Assistant of the President of the Republic as well as the implementation of the Joint Cooperation Agreement which was signed by Sudan and South Sudan. Ambassador Halima indicated that they also deliberated about the ongoing efforts for enactment of Sudan Constitution.
