The Advisory Council held today its regular weekly meeting during its 45th. ordinary session under the chairmanship of HE Speaker of the Advisory Council Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi.
At the outset of the meeting, HE the Council's Secretary-General Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khayareen read out the meeting agenda and the council approved it, then the Council ratified the minutes of its previous meeting.
The Advisory Council listened to the report of the Services and Public Utilities Committee on a draft law on the "Public Hygiene". The Council approved the draft law and decided to submit its recommendations thereon to the Cabinet.
Then, a memorandum by the Cabinet General Secretariat on a draft law amending some provisions of the Labor Law issued by Law No. (14) of 2004 and Law No. (13) of 1990 was read out. The Council unanimously decided to refer the draft memorandum to the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee to study it and report thereon.
