The US-backed Saudi warplanes waged three strikes on the capital of Sanaa overnight, a military official told Saba on Tuesday.

The strikes hit two building of Saudi and UAE ambassadors in al-Safih district in the capital.

The strikes caused heavy damage to properties and houses of the citizens, the official added.
