Several Saudi-paid mercenaries were killed and others wounded when the army and popular forces foiled their attempt to infiltrate towards northern Medi desert, a military official told Saba on Wednesday.

Also, the artillery of the national forces shelled mercenary gatherings in the same desert, the official added.
