The death toll from the blast that hit Houthi protesters at Tahrir Square in the Yemeni capital Sanaa has risen to 53.
As many as 130 people were injured.
Al Qaeda's wing in Yemen on Friday claimed responsibility for the suicide bomb attack.
Meanwhile, a Yemeni Foreign Ministry official denied media reports that the services of the Consular Section of the Saudi Embassy in Sanaa was negatively affected due to reducing the embassy staff.
The source said the Saudi Embassy continues work as normal.
