A key leader of the Yemeni Popular Resistance Committees (PRCs) was killed in armed clashes with Houthi militants in Dhubab town in Taiz province, Spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Abdo Magali said on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Yemeni army troops have liberated some strategic sites in Taiz and Saada provinces, Magali added.

Also, the Yemeni army forces have retaken control of Dhubab district and Al Amri Mountains in Taiz province, according to Magali.
