Arab coalition warplanes shelled on Sunday a number of positions affiliated to Houthis and pro-former president Ali Abdullah Saleh militias in Sanaa city and its suburbs, eyewitnesses said.

Meanwhile, the jets shelled al Dailami air base in northern Sanaa on Saturday evening, Yemeni military media center said.

The jets also targeted Houthi positions in northeastern Sanaa and destroyed reinforcements coming from the capital.

The warplanes also shelled Houths Hamza camp and destroyed an arms cache and a stadium where the militias stationed as well as other positions in Ibb city of Ibb governorate.
