Arab coalition warplanes Monday dawn shelled the positions of Houthis and militants loyal to former Yemeni president Ali Abdallah Saleh in Sanaa.

Eyewitnesses said the shelling hit the premises of the Military Faculty and Delimi Airbase adjacent to Sanaa Airport in northern the capital.

Sounds of explosions were heard in the shelled areas after the warjets were seen hovering over them
