At least eight militants of Houthis and supporters of ousted Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh were killed Sunday in an ambush set up by resistance forces in the central Yemeni governorate of Al Bayda.

Several others were injured in today's ambush as well.

A Houthi military convoy was totally destroyed in the attack, according to resistance-affiliated Al Bayda media center.

Meanwhile, Yemeni resistance troops attacked a militia post in Al Bayda's Dhi Na'im district, leaving several militants dead.
